Show of Hands is a new independent jazz, electronica and arts festival in Somerset, taking place over the weekend of 16-19 July 2027.
Across three days in the countryside near Bruton, the festival brings together live jazz, soul and electronic music, talks, workshops, creative experiences, activities for families and even hot air balloons.
People will gather to shape the festival together. Ticket holders can propose ideas, vote on festival “Lore”, and help build the experience as it unfolds. The more you put in, the more your voice carries weight.
ARTISTS
Where jazz meets soul, global grooves and forward-thinking club sounds. Genre-crossing headliners include Submotion Orchestra, Lady Wray, General Levy with TC & The Groove Family delivering an exclusive jazz-meets-jungle set. Alongside emerging artists, takeovers and tastemakers.
A programme of adventures for everyone unfolds across the site. Expect everything from yoga and storytelling, to den building and circus skills. All included in your ticket.
Show of Hands is designed as a grown-up music festival, but families are very much part of the gathering. Alongside the music, we’ve created imaginative experiences for children so everyone can enjoy the weekend together. No kids’ corners or endless extra charges. Just space to explore, discover and share the festival as a family.
